MR. PIT - Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
1. General
This Privacy Policy explains how MR. PIT ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors to mr-pit.com and of people who request our upholstery cleaning (Textile Detailing), aircraft detailing (Aircraft Detailing) and yacht detailing (Yacht Detailing) services.
2. What data we collect
Through the request forms on the site we may collect:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Service address
- Country and city
- A description of the service you want and any additional notes you add to the message
We do not collect payment details (card numbers and the like) directly through the site - payment is arranged separately when the order is confirmed.
3. Why we process your data
The data we collect is used solely to:
- contact you about your request;
- prepare a quote or an estimate for the service;
- arrange the team's visit to the site;
- keep internal statistics and improve service quality.
We do not use your data for advertising mailouts without your separate consent, and we do not sell or pass it to third-party companies for marketing purposes.
4. Where data is stored
Data from the request forms is sent to a secure form-processing service and stored in a private working spreadsheet accessible only to authorised MR. PIT staff.
5. Retention period
We keep request data for as long as needed to deliver the service and provide follow-up support to the client (for example, repeat requests), but no longer than 3 years from the last contact, unless a longer period is required by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on your country of residence (in particular for residents of the European Union and France, where the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, applies) you have the right to:
- find out what data about you is stored;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data ("the right to be forgotten");
- withdraw your consent to data processing at any time;
- lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your country.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
7. Cookies
The site may use technically necessary cookies for it to work correctly (for example, remembering your chosen language or price currency). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies without your separate consent.
8. Google Analytics
To analyse site traffic and understand which pages and services interest our visitors, we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC). It works through cookies and collects anonymised statistics: page views, referral sources, approximate city, device type, and certain actions (clicks on the phone number and messengers, and successful request-form submissions). This data does not identify you personally.
Google Analytics is enabled only after you give consent in the cookie banner at the bottom of the screen. If you click "Decline", Google Analytics is not loaded and sets no cookies. You can change your choice later by clearing this site's data in your browser. For more on how Google processes data, see the Google Privacy Policy.
9. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. To protect our request form from spam bots and automated mailings, we use the Cloudflare Turnstile service, which shows no CAPTCHA to genuine visitors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date it was last updated.
